On the face of it, Steve Bannon sounds like an Anglo-Saxon name.
But this is the matrix and nothing is as it seems.
So I dug.

Stephen is of course both a gentile and a Jewish name.
But Bannon also appears as a name used by Jews at Jewish Genealogy..
